I spent 3 days and 2 nights here for ARFID. I was at ACUTE before and loved it. ERC is not meant for atypical eating disorders. They force you to drink all liquids with meals which is incredibly hard on the digestive system. As a vegetarian they fed me lots of raw vegetables which would be hard to gain weight on and made my stomach feel even worse. My husband communicated my concerns and was never really given any answers. The whole time I was there I was never given a care plan. They didn’t have one. I’m now home and eating more calories then when I was there. I imagine they feed just enough to gain super slow so they can keep people and keep charging insurance. Also the food is stale and sometimes moldy. You will leave here more anxious. Go anywhere else.

This place was terrible for my daughter. She went to get help for her eating disorder after relapsing, but only got worse when she went. Her behaviors became more frequent and she was terrified of the place. Do NOT send your child here. The staff don't care about the kids and there were constantly kids screaming and crying.
