We invited Home Instead into our Father’s home, to fill a gap in care during a time of physical rehabilitation. We found the services provided by Home Instead to be professional and responsive to our short term needs. Scheduling of appropriate staffing was very flexible and easy to do. The care givers were very kind, thoughtful and respectful of our family. Although we only needed the services of Home Instead for a brief time, we would use them again if the need arises.

Home Instead is a fantastic resource. They are doing a such great job helping my father-in-law recover from his hospital stay - helping with laundry and meals, and just being there when we can't be. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends who needed a little extra help with an aging parent!
Going on our six month of service and I continue to be impressed with the quality of service Home Instead provides our 96 year old mother. Shifts are always covered with quality care givers, each of whom have become a \friend\ to my mother. I have appreciated HI management and staff's proactive communications regarding our mother's care and well being. In addition, the Grand Pad device has been a god-send for the family to maintain connection, and our mother to enjoy recreational activities. Thank you Home Instead!
Mother suddenly needed more help than I could provide while working full time. Kristen came out the day after we talked and had someone a day or two later. Shelby was amazing. She would walk in the door and start working. Stuff just got done without asking and she was a great cook. I asked her about the training Home Instead gave her (she was a new employee) and she reported that it was more than agencies that her friends had worked for. We always felt comfortable with her in the home and Mother really enjoyed her.
My dad had just gotten out of rehab center after a fall, and we needed 18 hour a day care. Debbie was very helpful and knew exactly which questions to ask to get my dad set up for care. I was overwhelmed because of everything that needed to be taken care of: medications, follow up doctor’s visits, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, the list went on and on. But the crew at Home Instead, schedulers like Sheldon, Solana, and Amy, set my mind at ease and made a difficult time manageable. Once care started I was immediately impressed by the expertise of the caregivers, Linda, Claudia, and Gary were friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working. It’s Nadia, however that we are most impressed with: she works Monday-Saturday during the day and always goes above and beyond her duties. My dad, who has dementia, always makes a point of saying “she’s my favorite!” after Nadia is done with her shift. I highly recommend Home Instead if you need in home care!
