As a young woman who admittedly doesn't know a ton about cars, auto shops can sometimes be intimidating. But at Hotchkiss, this was not the case. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and informative! I came in for an oil change, brake fluid replacement, and thought I might need new brake pads as well. A less reputable shop could've have told me I needed to replace my brakes and gotten the extra money. Hotchkiss not only let me know that my brakes had many more miles left on them, they gave me the exact measurements and even explained the what difference between the front and back pad measurements meant. I have rarely experienced this level of going above and beyond at other garages. The prices were reasonable and they were very up front about the costs, which I appreciated. I will definitely be coming back to Hotchkiss for all my car maintenance needs!

I am not usually motivated to write reviews, but I know how difficult and a bit scary it can be to find a auto repair garage you feel you can really trust. Two people had recommended Hotchkiss to me, so I felt reassured to start with. They were wonderful. I go back and forth between Denver and the Mountains a lot. My jeep started shaking in idle and I was worried to drive it up to the mountain. I needed to drive up in a few days. The dealer I often go to said they couldn't get me in for TWO WEEKS - even though I told them I thought my car had a potentially serious issue that might soon make it undriveable. Tony at Hotchkiss got me in the day after I called. Was very clear along the way about costs. The garage diagnosed and made repairs all in one day! I also just love the physical aspects of the garage. It's a beautiful building (when do you ever say that about an auto repair garage) and they have a very homey waiting area. The few people I dealt with were friendly and courteous.
I had the best experience using Hotchkiss Auto Repair for my 2017 Jeep. Right away I was welcomed by a woman named Nikki. I honestly do not know much about cars, Nikki walked me clearly through everything that was going on with my car and how Hotchkiss will fix my battery issues. I have never felt so relaxed and up to speed on what I was putting my money towards. 10/10 recommend. They fixed my car wonderfully and I could not say thank you enough for someone like Nikki to walk me through each detail on what was going on.
Wonderful experiences here. One particular time I took my car here I was quoted a certain price for a repair. It came out being almost 200.00 less. Love the honesty. Good business.
