OUR MISSION - The Institute for Environmental Solutions is an independent non-profit organization that engages stakeholders to deliver technically sound solutions to complex environmental and health problems -- without unwanted side effects. WE BELIEVE - There is an urgent need to identify, test, and implement sound, scientific and cost-effective solutions to environmental problems that aren’t being addressed. OUR APPROACH - Communicate with and educate residents, community groups, businesses, government agencies, scientists, and other stakeholders. Provide opportunities to the community to make quantifiable and measurable impacts to improve the environment. Partnering with Coloradoans in the science of environmental improvement, IES programs provide innovative ways to clean the water you drink and the air you breathe. IES provides accessible, efficient, and cost-effective solutions to complex environmental issues such as climate change and community health. The IES Board of Directors consists of up to 15 members who are environmental professionals, business leaders, and community members with a wide range of experience and expertise. All Board members share an active commitment to the mission and goals of IES, and are dedicated to improving the environment.
