Kevin at Reliant has always been awesome to deal with and goes the extra mile to accommodate my needs for dry ice. I am a dry ice blasting contractor and need good quality ice on very short notice, these guys have never let me down and provide me with great ice. I am surprised to read these comments about Kevin, he is a great guy to work with, he has never let me down. I would and do highly recommend Reliant... they definitely have the best ice and best service in this market.
Reliant dry ice is your solution to buying dry ice slices and pellets. I've wasted so much time calling and driving around to local grocery stores to see if they have dry ice in the back. You know that reliant has dry ice because... that's all they sell. It's cash only and a little over a dollar per lb. 60 lb of dry ice (slices) cost be 71. Kevin has been easy to deal with over the years and I'll continue to use them in the future.
I have tried to give this company my business two times and to no avail. it sounds like it is a one man shop as every time I call I only talk to Kevin and he always sounds like you are bothering him when you call. I asked him for a delivery of 50LBS of Dry Ice Pellets and he told me that they only deliver 200LB orders or higher. I didn't bicker, and simply agreed to the 200lb order. I told him two different addresses to deliver to (one business and one residential), Kevin told me that they do not deliver to residential neighborhoods so I told him to deliver to the office. He asked me to email him my info to be added to take delivery. Never heard back. Called back again on Monday and got the same song and dance from Kevin, told him the business address only and asked for a delivery as soon as possible. He asked me to email him my info again. No answer so I called him back today. He let me know that he looked up the address and it looks like a house so he wouldn't deliver. He also remembered the first time I called in too. He went on to tell me that since it appeared residential he wouldn't deliver. This was all happening while I took a 2,000lb soil delivery from a commercial delivery truck. Kevin then went on to tell me he looked up our company online and since we are hemp based he will not deliver to us. Nor would he deliver to a cannabis company either. He told me that if I did want to continue to order I would need to come to him. In my experience this was truly unprofessional especially since I had not even been able to buy anything from them and rather they just wasted my time. If this is how he treats potential customers I cannot imagine how he treats the ones that pay him. New customers BEWARE!!!
Poor customer service! I should never have to beg a service or supply company to sell me a product, especially when I'm taking over from a business that he would have otherwise lost. Every question, order and request was responded to with as if it was an inconvenience for Kevin to do his \job\ as an \area manager\. After reading the other reviews and talking with the people who we took over their account, i was shocked to learn that the minimum order is now 300 lbs.
