Really great experience here with establishing care for my new cat. Due to covid it's all curbside, so when I pulled up all I had to do was call in. One of the techs got the history over the phone and came out to my car to pick up my cat. Dr. Bartley, the veterinarian, came out to the car to talk over the visit and make her recommendations. She was great, very patient, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. Then my cat was brought back to my car and we were all done! We'll definitely be going back for her 6 month checkup.

This vet practice is professional, safe and I feel truly cares about my fur baby the way I do. I drive an hour from Thornton for my visits.. I have been a customer for 10 years and can't say enough about Deanna and her team. If you are looking for the perfect Vet Practice for your pet call them.
I continue to be amazed at how accommodating everyone e has been since conveniently located in the Lowery retail complex. This is where I am going to take Max for all of his future medical concerns.
If you want honest opinions where they balance your pet's well-being with your budget, this is an excellent place to go. They were prompt to provide info about pricing, they provided suggestions that were transparent and cost-effective, they were thorough with their bloodwork, etc. and overall honest. I had been to a few different vets before my sister suggested this place and I will definitely be coming back. Not only did they make a connection with my cat, they also made one with me. It feels great to know that I can trust they're not trying to overcharge me for unnecessary services but will still make sure this guy has a personalized treatment plan that balances cost, long-term health benefits, and more holistic options.
I can not say how wonderful Dr. Miller and staff are at Rising Sun Animal Care are. I would Highly Highly Recommend them to any one looking for a vet. I came to Rising Sun Animal Care for acupuncture as a last option for Bri. Everyone at Rising Sun welcomed us and made us feel welcome. Dr. Miller is very companionate and understanding. The vet techs are amazing and wonderful to work with. The front office staff are hands down the best!! My only regret about anything is not knowing about Dr. Miller and Rising Sun Animal Care Is not finding them soon enough.
Best care we ever found for our pets. We can always get an appointment when needed. We always get answers to the questions, and all the help we need when there's a problem. The strategy for seeing furry patients during the pandemic is brilliant, and keeps both the pet parents and the pets safe.
The staff at Rising Sun have been amazing. We had a mild emergency today and they were able to get us right in for a visit. We’ve been using them ever since we adopted our pup from Dumb Friend’s League in July. With our previous dog we used closer vets but will go the extra distance to return to Rising Sun.
Brought our 10 year old dog in to have a total head to toe checkup. We expressed that his ears, lumps, limp, and cough are a concern. Dr Allison took him in and gave him back saying hes healthy. After a few days of watching him continue to scratch the inside of his ears I called and said I don't feel that his ears were actually checked, and that I want them to check "again " but I didn't want to pay for something that should have been checked the first time. She told me Dr Allison would be in Friday and we set up an appointment that my girlfriend brought him to. She miraculously found a double ear infection and said "I swear I checked them" then they charged her for the visit. Very disappointed and won't be coming back.
