Good food! I ate pancakes with some Denver Omelets. Unlike most places, the syrup is warm which is good cause who eats cold syrup with pancakes? The omelet was tasty. Not too salty or spicy. It was just right. Only bad thing i can say was that the apple juice cost 4...4 bucks for apple juice? In what world?! But anyways this restaurant still gets a 5-stars from me. Good food. Good service.

There is something to be said about a restaurant/diner that looks like it's straight out of the 1970s in the current day. This little place on East Colfax really made me wonder if it was the diner out of the opening/ending scene in the movie Pulp Fiction! It's kept tidy and clean inside, and the furniture, tables and chairs all add into the 70s feel. I went here for a lunch on a Friday and was seated immediately at the counter, although there were plenty of seats/tables available. I had a Reuben sandwich which was really good, and my friend had a meatloaf sandwich which was also very good. Price came to about 12-13 each with some ice tea. If you like Sam's #3 in downtown Denver, then this place will also resonate with you. Recommended!

Low key diner with some big flavor food. Stopped by on a Saturday morning no wait time. I got breakfast sandwiche husband got chicken and waffles. Also got a biscuit and gravy to share. Wow all were big portions tasted delicious! I should have skipped the sandwich the biscuit was awesome and more than enough. Husband said his chicken and waffles was some of the best he ever had. Would return, not expensive. Free parking. The restaurant is a little old and worn.

Sad they closed down. I loved their food. Used to go like 2-3 times per weeks years ago.

We have fallen in love with Tom's Diner. We came here for breakfast on labor day (I know)... and ordered the standard fare - eggs, potatoes, toast, and a pancake. The server, despite being overwhelmed with the amount of customers and lack of support staff, was very friendly, polite, and helpful. She seated and served us quickly given the circumstances, and was attentive during our visit. The food is superb, and cheap (especially relative to the other breakfast joints in the area). Last but not least, the classic diner vibe is not to be overlooked. There is a nostalgic glow in every corner of the restaurant. Even the silverware is reminiscent of the classic 24-hour diner. We would absolutely come here again, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a classic retro vibe (minus the pretence) with reasonably priced food. 5 stars, no doubt about it.

Fine spot for American food. This place is absolutely outstanding. The service here is attentive. Prices were good for how much you get. Atmosphere is similar to a place in Columbus I loved.

A favorite place for American food. Staff treated us so kindly. The bill was reasonable I would say. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.

So, I very very rarely give a 1 star review. I understand it's difficult to run a restaurant and the average person has a far too high standard for their food. With that being said... I'm in town on business until Friday and decided to order some food from here to be delivered after a long day / night of filming. Uber eats delivered in a timely fashion and we were excited to finally be able to eat. When we opened up the contents, we found an order that was simply inedible. None of us are picky eaters, but sadly none of us were able to even eat any of our order. Every. Single item was without question produced with the lowest level of care and execution we'd ever seen. The first image is of the "french dip" which is basically a beef patty pressed onto a grill that must have previously been used for something horrific. I could go into graphic detail, but I'll just let the photos speak for themselves. So we're still starving and looking for someplace else to order from. Wish we could go back in time and just light the 60 we spent on fire as it would have smelled better and at least put a smile on our faces.
