I was apprehensive about going to a large public place during COVID, so I took the time to thoroughly read the website. I appreciated that they were limiting visitors and providing hand sanitizer. In buying the tickets, I understood that there were two locations and based on the descriptions, chose the one without simulators. Also it mentions to be certain you are buying the tickets for the correct site since they are non-refundable. We really enjoyed looking at the planes and reading the history found in various rooms. We spent 1.5 hours there and were glad we did it! The staff was friendly and guided us upon entry as well as during our time there. During our self tour, we enjoyed speaking to the docent who had great information for each of our questions. As we exited, the gentleman at the front register also asked if we enjoyed the experience. What great customer service! I would highly recommend trying it. I found it all fascinating and I’m not even into history! Although the people were not socially distancing well and the kids tended to crowd into areas beyond the stated limits.....I appreciated that the museum took precautions that were within their control. It was a fun site to take in while touristing Denver!

We went there because it was something that we had never done before and my 7 year old was going stir crazy from being home due to covid and everything. She likes planes and the simulators described on their website sounded cool. Had to get tickets ahead of time, and considering it's almost all military planes I was surprised when veterans only got a 2 discount. So after paying almost 50 for 2 adults(one being a veteran) and my daughter, we get there only to learn that all simulators are closed due to covid. OF ALL THE COVID RELATED INFO ON THEIR SITE, THEY COULDN'T HAVE MENTIONED THAT?! So I inquired about it and the lady at the front said that I must have been looking at the other location which simulators were open at. Long story short, they wouldn't transfer or refund our tickets, or even offer a discount on tickets to their other location. Then in the gift shop the guy working there yelled at my daughter to put the thing she wanted (and we were going to buy) down because it was very expensive and not a toy. Want to know the best part? It was less money than what I just paid to get in there!! All in all, never going again and don't recommend it to anyone. At least during the pandemic.
