Food was delicious, staff really pleasant. Only downside was the bartender. As we where leaving I looked at the bar. And he had his mask off. The manager didn't seem to mind or the folk's around him. But it's something I'm going to mention. Since it's a business. And like other businesses that follow safety protocol. This one should do the same. I mean if he's to lazy to keep the mask on. What other things he skips as far as sanitary requirements. Wash hands after using the restroom? Makes you wonder. Price it's on the expensive side. Portion are someone small compared to other Italian restaurant. Decor needs to improve. At least the back room. It needs improvement.

We planned on ordering Christmas Eve dinner so I called before 2pm to see how much time to allow before pickup at 6. Following their suggestion, I called in our order for five dinners at 4pm. My husband and daughter left at 5:45 to pick up the order. By 6:30 we began to worry that we hadn't heard from them. We called and discovered that the food wasn't ready and they were \working on it.\ When questioned about the delay, they were asked about the phone number it was under and what was ordered; obviously.it wasn't prepared. And all the pickup orders that they were sending out were in the teens while ours was #89, even though I had called it in hours earlier. No one offered an explanation or suggested they go sit at the bar while they waited. My husband, who has issues with his foot, was unable to stand after half an hour and went to sit in the car, leaving our daughter to wait alone. It was over an hour late when the order was finally ready. By the time they got it home, everyone was upset about the situation and the poor treatment by Bensi's employees. We can't even say the meal was anything more than pretty good because we were so hungry we just started eating. I expected better from Bensi. If they had the courtesy to explain that there was a problem or had shown a little concern, our reaction would not have been so negative. The whole incident was unacceptable. It will be a very long tie before we consider Bensi as a dining option again.
We go to Bensi a few times per week, and always come home with a great feeling. They treat us like family ! The food is out of this world The white sangria always perfect, and the service is amazing! You will NEVER regret eating here! I had been in many expensive restaurants, and have been disappointed many times over. If you are looking for the best price and fantastic portions, and even better food and service , this is the place to go!
