This airport will take the load of Dhanbad , Bhagalpur , dumka , godda and deoghar itself , all these city is almost 100-150 km away from deoghar and they are well connected by roadway and railways. So Airport will face the huge number of passengers.

Still a long way to go and even airport gets operational it will be very hard to get on track as in my opinion there will be a lesser passengers who can fly on daily basis so i guess either on weekly basis provided a good number of passengers are there than few airlines can do a favour for Deoghar airport else airlines do not fly with 9-10 passengers as there is lots of costing involved likewise Durgapur airport is suffering. I wish people should prefer to fly instead of taking trains for the longer route specially to save their own time and i believe value of time is more important than money. So to make it successful airport one Needs to change the mindset of people and nothing else.

The construction of the international airport at Deoghar is almost complete. Air service is also starting from Deoghar in a few days.Residents of the city will benefit greatly here due to the formation of an airport in Deoghar.This airport is built in about 700 acres.
