Went to Quest labs to get routine bloodwork done. Made an appointment about 4 weeks ago. When I arrived the entire waiting room was packed, people standing in the vestibule and outside. I checked in and the kiosk told me it would be a 52 minute wait. 52 MINUTES? For a scheduled appointment? This location on Transit near French has been a nightmare to deal with for years but who has an hour extra to take off work for a scheduled blood draw?! Why would they schedule so many people? I left.
I walked in a bit after 6am. The 1st person was registered as patient#1. He wasn't taken until 6:10 (they open @ 5:30). By 6:30 am, there were finally 3 workers. (I was next.. yay!) No patients were in back. Nobody was being called. The waiting room was getting filled up. Not 1 person was taken for nearly 15 minutes. Because of the unexplained wait, I was bumped by patients with appointments. Finally, I was called. I left & within moments of driving home, there was blood pouring down my arm because the gauze wasn't applied tight enough. I only have this 2 stars because I have had more positive experiences in the past (later in the day).
Quick and speedy appointments. I was a walk in and was taken back quickly!
Clean friendly and quick. I used the q code scanner and only waited 2 minutes before my name was called .l no idea what's with all the crank reviews here.
Horrible.. no matter how early you get there you still have a half hour wait thanks to all the old folks who don’t have to get to work taking up all the early appointments. I tried twice this week to get in there early so I wouldn’t be late for work and both times had to walk out after getting bumped by these old folks who have all day to kill. They need to be more considerate of the working folks and they’re not.
Online said 9 min wait for walk ins. Once I got here it said a 27 min wait. Actual wait time 1 hr!!!! Very annoyed.
They are usually quick, however going by appointment time and the 2 minute wait time on the screen.... why does it take soo much longer everytime?
