Avoid! I paid out for the level 3 survey and a few issues were found, however since the completion I have had to fork out over 5000 for works on problems not found. Bakemans cleverly word their reports with get out clauses so they are covered even when they've missed things such as dangerous electric and a badly damaged roof.

I've paid for a building survey to be done the survey was done in good time I was told 7 to 10 working days to get my results back which is fine but its now a week late I should of had my results back on the 21st of August 2020 that was the latest day of 10 working days its not Fridays 28th August 2020 and still no results ive rang up every day asking when I will get them and every time I ring im getting told you will have them by tonight and god hold me not no results so I ring the day after and get told the same again you will get them tonight and still nothing its been 5 days late and keep been told I will have them and still nothing its not good enough why tell me I will get them and I don't it is now holding me and my partner up on our home we are buying as we are waiting in results to see if loads of work needs doing the service is not good at all ive paid for it to be done and its now time I had my results so I can finally move forward with this house service is so slow not good enough way late out for your own time scale Thanks ricky

Very impressed with the polite, professional and helpful phone and email communication. Very quick turnaround; it took just 10 working days to receive the report from the day of booking. The report is very detailed and includes useful photographs for reference. I will use the report as a reference during the conveyancy process, as well as a checklist of matters to address once I have moved into the house. Many thanks for this service. I highly recommend.

Very professional Company, promptly replying to emails/telephone queries. The Survey Report was exensive in detail and very well presented also easy to understand from a laymans point. I can now see that the 7-10 days quoted to receive the Report was a valid time frame for the amount of work and detailing included. I have no hesitation in recommending Bakemans, 1st class service.

Firstly, the report was in good detail, however it took a complete age to get! Took nearly 5 working weeks to get and really slowed down our house purchase to get additional information in regards to the survey. Had to constantly chase for answers, and to use covid as a excuse is comical it was carried out quickly and nothing for weeks as stated earlier. Customer service was not helpful. The suvayor was rude when dealing with him and not helpful when I asked questions about the survey. Some bits where inaccurate and found this out when I got a more in-depth inspection. I won't be using again and I would recommend if you want it in a reasonable time frame I would go elsewhere. Shoddy service for the money. Only got 1 star because it wouldn't let me give zero.
