I have never gotten any of my physical issues fixed. They have always beat around the bush and have not gotten anything done. I have been to Alvarado and Bongers. Both have not helped. The nurses are great and that’s it. If you want something done and want to feel better, go somewhere else.

My husband has been seeing Dr Bongers for almost 5 years. We finally decided to switch to someone else because every time he sees the doctor lately, he is rushed through the appointment and the doctor doesn't take time to listen to him. Today, my husband went in to talk to him about some meds, and the doctor didn't listen, just filled out a form and walked out and it had NOTHING to do with the reason my husband went in. Also, I tried to schedule as a new patient with him a few months back when my doctor retired. I confirmed that he was taking new patients. I then get a call that he refused to take me on as a patient. No reason as to why. I go to the doctor maybe 3-5 times a year for non-narcotic medication management. So there is NO REASON he shouldn't have seen me, especially since I have been establishes with Family MedCenter for 30 years!
Kind of odd that patients are required to wear masks but when I was here for a check up almost half the staff were not wearing masks properly or didn’t even have them on. Definitely did not feel safe or comfortable being in the room with a coughing nurse who didn’t even have a mask on. I do not recommend this place, it seems like they do not care about the health safety of their patients.
Dr. Niederee, if you dislike treating patients at this level anymore you should leave. We were mortified. Not the same doctor we've grown to respect and trust. You were rude and condescending. We barely got to speak between his comments that left us feeling like bad children. He didn't care what we had to say. How can you treat if we can't tell you ALL issues. Treatment was unprofessional and we've already left the practice. We've trusted you for decades. Trusted YOU. The way he spoke to his nurse, relaying information, was loud and rude. This is ever ongoing, just worse. No one speaks up because they're scared, nor does anyone deserve to be talked to that way by a boss or any other, period. Also, someone we knew & other patients were standing in hall & around and could hear everything he was saying about our medical issue's. Its as if he was mocking us for being there. So much for hipaa. Why do we sign papers? P.S. Seating in lab area is not conducive to older patients as they cannot get up-and-down from the low seating. Should be higher up chairs. But since patient care seems to not be the priority anymore, yelling at them is, this probably won't even be seen or addressed. No response needed with the canned messages posted to many below to call your corporate office. We are, as well as, going above that so someone actually hears this & not just swept under like trash. That regurgetated note also shows a disregard for each person that takes the time to write a review. The ice\ reviews get a nice response. Each should receive the same courtesy for their time.
Boy, you better get a receipt AND don’t pay cash or you will have to pay another copay!!! They collect the copay before you even sit down!!! The billing department was very nice, but still have to pay another copay....not too happy....
