Excellent little 9 hole golf course with friendly Drop-in Zone.

Having been a member for over 30 years, and still not mastered the course, you can be sure of a good test of your golfing ability at Pastures. 9 holes; 2 tees per hole give a slightly differing challenge on each 9. Beware of the trees and the 3 par 3 holes over 200 yards each (6 in the 18 holes!) and the 9/18 th hole has to be one of the most challenging in the area. A really friendly club, good course, well worth playing and joining

I don't usually give a review, but this place and the people are an exception. I have played at many Lancashire Courses and been a member in a few. I always thought that Lancashire folk gave a warm welcome, but this has been totally surpassed by the people involved at the Pastures. Nothing was any trouble. I was carrying my clubs and offered free of charge a trolley to go around the course on both my visits. The course itself is in excellent condition. It may be shorter than usual courses but but it was great to practice my short game. It's not an easy course by any stretch of the imagination. The greens are testing and trees line all the fairways. Good course management is a must. Early morning wildlife watching is a must too! Never seen a squirrel chased by two nesting birds! And that was just on the 4th hole! I really enjoyed my two games at the Pastures and found them testing. Hopefully, my short game has now improved because of it. I hopefully will be returning soon. If I lived here in South Derbyshire I would become a member without any hesitation. Highly recommended.

Pretty 9 hole course and a good test due to the many trees. Very welcoming and friendly clubhouse.
