Tried so hard to to continue going to this Popeyes despite the terrible service but I just can't do it any longer. Went to order the family meal. Standard. Chicken, sides, bisucits. Should be no problem. Dude tells us it's gonna be a 30 minute wait, with no one else in line at the drive through, and NOBODY inside eating. Ok fine, we'll go somewhere else. Last time, I went just to get my wife some coleslaw to go with dinner. Reg size container, half full of coleslaw. Like dude took one scoop with the scooper and was cyah. Like cmon, I came for one thing. I would never do that to somebody I worked in food service that ain't right. Seriously, listen to the person who said best, just go to any other Popeye's.

This popeyes location is the worst one, in ansonia. All of the other ones we have been to, we never had a problem. Our experience has never been good here. We gave it a try at least 3 times but after the last time, which was a couple of days ago, we will never go back. The customer service was awful. They have no manners or respect. We always get the spicy chicken sandwich and it was so pathetic. They literally put a dime size amount on our sandwiches. The last time we went it looked like they dumped the whole bottle of sauce on each side of the bun so it was soggy. The fries were cold and stale each time we went. We couldn't believe how bad they are honestly. Save yourself a trip and go to any other Popeyes except this one.
Chicken sandwich was to greasy usually much better.
I write this as I’m sitting in my car, 31 minutes after I ordered a chicken sandwich. And there are 3 cars ahead of me that still have not been served. Make sure you go inside, and when they tell you to pull up expect to wait a long time. Because their system thinks that you have been served already so you mean nothing
I love Popeyes but it doesn't love me. Because it's fried and buttered my system can't take it. Their batter is nice and light but I have to take it off. If you can tolerate the way it's cooked, go for it! Not healthy but better than KFC.
