My wife had a horrible experience at this quest location. She told me the woman drawing her blood was unbelievably rude and disgusting. She assumed the insurance was Medicare because she kept her maiden name (we have BCBS) and she assumed she was a single mother. She then couldn’t get the vein in my sons arm, and started to access my wife of not giving him enough fluids before the appointment. I can only assume that for those who do have state insurance the attitude they would receive from this woman. Abhorrent behavior. We will NEVER use this Quest again.

The waiting area seemed clean enough. There was a sign in the waiting room stating that only 5 people are allowed at a time. I had an appointment and after I signed in my wait was only 2 minutes. The phlebotomist was kind and friendly. I was in and out relatively quickly.

I've been to this location countless times and it's always nice seeing the same familiar faces, it means that they are happy working there. From sign in, I never have to wait long and the techs drawing blood are quick, efficient, courteous and caring. The only negative that happened to me yesterday was when I popped my head back into the blood drawing room to get another piece of gauze the tech that turned around wasn't wearing a mask and proceeded to give me a piece of gauze with her bare hands after she was bare hand handling something else. ***note I've only been here in the morning/lunch hour and never interacted with the afternoon staff except this one time with the gauze.

Terrible service. Terrible bedside manner. I should be able to expect better from medical professionals. After opting to wait in the car because the waiting room was already past the indicated capacity and no staff enforced this. (Room cap indicated 5, there were at least 12 people in the room) the TV indicated I had 17 minutes to wait, and so after 25 minutes of waiting I headed into the room, and saw that I had 5 more minutes. During that time, a nurse with 2 drop offs as well as 2 walk in appointments we're pushed in front of me for my wait time. I caught a nurse behind the glass and tried to ask her what was going on and tell her what happened. I told her i had been waiting and due to medical reasons my father drove me (he's in his 70s) and was waiting out in the car. She informed me she didn't know why it was happening, that it would only be a few more minutes- then a few minutes later, she called back the man who had walked in just moments before. I waited over 45 minutes before leaving.

Honestly just go to the Quest in Shelton with an appointment. Rude, much longer wait time than indicated, unprofessional and not taking the right COVID procedures (sign said 5 patient capacity for waiting room, but there were at least 15 people). Check-in person was okay but the rest of the staff seemed snarky and disorganized.

My go to for my children's, dad's, and my blood work, most definetly. Always a friendly staff. They work very well with my dad who's blood is hard to get, he never complains. I visit this Quest a minimum of ten times a year, and never have to wait more than 15 min. My average wait time is 8 min. A blood draw should only be a slight pinch, and that's all you'll feel here! Be hydrated with plenty of water before you go!

This was one of the best Quest Locations I've ever been to. I went Saturday around 11AM and I was in and out in 15 minutes as a walk in. They have a touch screen sign in kiosk and a TV that shows the people in front of you and the approximate wait time. Highly recommended. The staff was nice as well.
