Good for kids
I Went in the middle of winter so not the best time to go as it was very boggy/muddy.This woodland used to be an RAF bomb dump for the airfield of Raf Wendling which this is part of and there’s plenty of evidence of this with brickwork structures dotted around the area. As it was winter I saw no wildlife and as it was so muddy it was difficult to explore the woods entirely.

Lovely quiet walk mainly due to poor parking which has never put us off. There's lots of WW2 bomb dump structures and a few buildings left to explore too. I welcome the NO DOGS policy as I'd prefer to look around at the flora and fauna than stare at the ground avoiding poop. Unfortunately some people can't read and still walk their dogs.
Hard to tell which path ends and starts, tad overgrown bit kinda magical
Couldn't find a car park. Overgrown paths. Not much good for dog walking
Peaceful walk for dogs
