Been with this surgery for 30 years and sadly this surgery has got worse, I spend over an hour waiting in a queue on the phone to just get to speak to a receptionist these days and that doesn't even guarantee an appointment and it's annoying not to be able to book an appointment, especially if you work, because your not guaranteed to get an appointment on the day, on a day off. Getting to see a doctor is a rarity, so I'm getting to the point where I don't bother and hope for the best!

My husband had his flu vaccine a few days ago at Orchard surgery and was very impressed with the efficiency and organisation, it was very easy and quick, well done to the staff there.
Trying to book an appointment is absolutely horrendous! You can't make an appointment in advance, you have to call up at 8 am in the morning... I tried this on many occasions only to be told that you are about 17th in the call Que... Half an hour later when you're finally answered, there are no appointments left so you are told to call back in the afternoon. I can't even remember the last time I actually saw a doctor, I only ever manage to see a nurse practitioner..... and it's only going to get worse!!
After moving from Essex nearly two years ago I cannot fault the Orchard Surgery. Very friendly and caring with such lovely receptionists and doctors.
Can be difficult to get an appointment. But generally OK. Usually very helpful and 8/10 times they're running on time
