Had a wonderful experience at this eye doctor! Staff were very stringent with adherence to COVID regulations with temp check upon entrance, everyone wearing masks and cleaning down machines prior to use. The staff was very friendly, personable and even allowed my wife to accompany me to make financial decisions and pick out my frames (temp checked and masked of course) The biggest reason I gave them five stars though is because the optometrist that saw me, Dr. Renee, actually diagnosed me with a condition I never even knew I had just by looking into my eyes. Without her knowledge and persistence I would never have discovered the underlying cause which is a condition that could have seriously affected me in a life changing way. Thanks to her I got tested and recently started treatment. Thank you Dr. Renee and all the amazing women of Desert Eye Care! I'm moving out of the area soon but will make the drive to stay with this practice

I was really hesitant to come to Desert EyeCare because I was unsatisfied with NATIONWIDE. They gave me a significantly incorrect prescription and I have had headaches for over a year. However, the staff and doctor were so kind here. I felt much better about it. They were professional, as well as very patient with me. The doctor took time to find me the perfect prescription, and the staff was so nice while I was picking out my glasses frames. I think the prices are pretty comperable to NATIONWIDE, so I don't know why I want coming here instead. I wish I could give a 6 start review.

My husband experienced an eye injury at work. He is a welder, and a small piece of metal was lodged in his eye. After taking him to the ER at 11pm we were told that we would need to see an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist asap in the morning to remove the remaining metal. Morning came and I was on the phone with any one and everyone in the local area (and was running circles trying to get help). However, one call over to DesertEyeCare Center and I was blown away by the amazing customer service. Not only did they arrange their schedule to fit my husband in, but they told us to come in immediately to get him looked at. We were greeted by a friendly staff upon arrival and were treated with the utmost respect. Unfortunately, the tool needed to extract the foreign object in my husband's eye was not available to the doctor...BUT...they went above and beyond to help us find a practice that would be willing to fit him in to their schedule (same day). Not only did they do ALL the calling, they actually found someone and we were sent on our way. In addition to that amazing customer service, they did not charge for our visit. This level of customer service is unheard of and I am genuinely blown away by the group at this facility. A huge shout out to Jessica for taking the time to make all the necessary calls to secure an appointment at another facility Another huge shout out to Dr Renee Thimesch, who so graciously took the time out of her day to help us in a time of dire need. These ladies exemplify the meaning compassion and incredible customer service! To say the least, they gained a customer for life!
