Myself and five of my friends had a 10 o'clock tee time this morning. When I went to check in I told the clerk I would like my own cart as I just got out of the hospital with covid and did not want to have someone ride with me. The clerk told me it would be 10.00 more for me and 10.00 more for my partner, we had a buddy pass or two for one pass. I could understand 10.00 for me but why another 10.00 for him. Our group has a ten o'clock tee time at this course every Sat. all year long and I felt they could have be a little more understanding. Because of the extra 10.00 we did not play.

I'm a beginner golfer and played my very first game at Desert Sands. Very friendly staff. The golf course is maintained very well. Rounds of golf are reasonably priced with a golf cart! All in all, a great place with wide open fairways. The only downfall (in my opinion) is the greens were very slow. I would highly recommend this course for anyone who has ever thought about golfing. Play here and have fun! There is shade throughout the course.

The greens are tuff and that is a great thing. Fairways a great, tough as well. Playing here made my game better overall. Very fun time. Just 1 thing, make sure the staff stops watering before you play a hole. It makes it a rain round. Other than that, Great course.
