It can be difficult to find good contractors, especially for a big job like new wood floors. Milene and Dave do great work. From the beginning of the project to the end they keep you updated and explain everything along the way. Our new engineered hardwood floors are incredible and installed perfectly. Price was more than fair and there were no surprises. Highly recommended!

I obtained the standard three bids for adding additional hard wood in combination with repairing and refinishing existing hard wood in my home. When I first met with Milene she spent about 30-40 minutes discussing her process, products, what we wanted to end up with and so on. At some point I remember just waiting the price as I thought she would be double the other two contractors. Mostly because they just measured, shot me a number on the spot and did not discuss things like stain options, finish products or the process. I received her quote in a day and to my surprise, she was the middle cost of the other two. I instantly went with her and got on the schedule. Our wood was delivered at the exact time she indicated. Leading to our install date, I asked if there as any way to start early due to some company planning on coming in. She was able to get us started a day and a half early and that’s when both Milene and her crew started to shine. For Milene, she was more than a salesperson, but actually an excellent project manager. She communicated with me daily on arrival times, the work being performed and a daily summary at the end of each day. I have never had any home contractor keep me so informed. As for the work itself, perfect! The crew was incredible. We had some lacing and the finished product looks like it was all done at once. They were on time every day, respectful of my home, as clean as possible for a dusty job and most importantly true craftsmen! From angled cuts, odd spaces and not tearing up the existing molding, they did it all. The finished product came out much better and was done sooner than I expected. While I paid a competitive price for the work done, I feel the value received was consistent with my initial thoughts that Design Elegance would be much more expensive than the others I had received quotes from. However, it seems some people still believe in fair pricing and excellent work and customer service. Thank you!
