Went to the detention center to inquire about one of my employees and when you walk in, there isn't any kind of signage to help you know what you're doing. And then after turning a couple corners, a voice appears from a little box at a window that's painted so you can't even see who you're talking to. I'm not sure that's really a necessary security measure for a low level detention center. And the voice behind the box was short and rude. I get it, you might have to deal with \thugs\ all day, but sometimes you have to deal with a concerned boss who's there to help their employee over an unpaid no insurance ticket. Really scary stuff, if you know what I mean. (Enter eye roll here) And all this after leaving the family of another employee, who randomly passed away a couple months ago. We all were donating money to help his young family out for Christmas. Just remember that everyone has something going on and you don't have to be rude. And please, for the love of God, take down the window paint so people can talk to a real person instead of the Wizard of Oz.
