I guarantee you that anyone who had a negative review of this place dealt directly with the owner Chris Billmeyer. Rude isn’t the word. Miserable is. That’s the only word I can think of to accurately explain that kind of behavior, so much so that from now on if I deliver to Detroit, I will be adamant about not delivering at this facility. The way he talks to people would make you want to put hands on him. The broker said that this has been a 40 year problem and that he’s even been knocked out by drivers. The knocking out part doesn’t surprise me but what does is how they have managed to stay in business with that kind of attitude from leadership. Is the produce market in Detroit that bad that customers will keep a business with that kind of customer service running? It sounds like there is money to be made in that industry in Detroit and all you have to do is be nice and respectful. I would NOT recommend this business.

That’s my second time here and I think last, same issues (you are not on the list) , this place its horrible, they don’t want you here Drivers....they will try to hold product in your traileres like storage facility for one extra day or maybe two...that door will open at 00:45am not early, brokers tells you 23:59pm... Save your time and money and make yourself a favor stay away....Bcs of them you will loose your next load which generates more revenue than sitting on those guys parking....

I drove all day through the blizzard, saw 2 trucks flipped over in front of me, was totally exhausted to get their product on time. Their dispatchers called me every 15 minute to get my eta. 10 hours later I've being told, that its gonna be another 2-3 hours. So, I risked my life for 12 hours stay in here. When I arrived, I saw a driver backing in with the exact product as I had. My theory is that they order more that they need, and whoever get there first will be unloaded. The rest will become an extended refrigerated facility. Dear drivers, I know, when you read bad reviews, you think \its gonna be different for me\. It won't. Its not worth loosing extra day for free.

By far.... this is the worst place to deliver. Avoid...avoid this place, otherwise you will regret. If you are lucky and they need your product.... it’s your day. You got lucky. Otherwise... you are stuck there for few days. A star it’s too much for them. Stay away. Don’t ruin your day(s).

Believe the comments, DONT COME HERE! I read the comments and didn’t want to come but had no choice due to freight of cantaloupe rejected by SpartanNash in Byron Center, MI due to decay. I arrived at 1130pm. Security in front of building gave me a pass and directed me to enter behind the building into the gate to park. Dumb lady didn’t tell me this earlier in the day but stated “we are on ford street” but it’s on backside and on ford st. Talk about a airhead who knows nothing. You still go in the gate to park even if you didn’t stop with security since security is at the gate also to check you in..They didn’t open up until 1245 am. Took my bills and number from me after checking in. Didn’t get a dock until near 4 am. Now it’s 740 am with maybe 3 pallets of 24 removed? I went on the dock after backing in and they are just talking away doing nothing. They clearly aren’t busy at all. I’ve had to call the broker during the day and night shift to get them to unload me because I needed to get to my next load later today. Funny they didn’t start working hard until I spoke to the day shift broker. These people aren’t busy they are lazy! You see the responses to every comment on here from some office staff....all Bologna! Never haul any load for them at all. Let some pitiful truck service deal with them who will likely spill their product on the highway due to a wreck. By the way your appt number as others stated don’t mean a Dag on thing. They aren’t the worst customer to deliver to but could be the worst in a Detroit. Hispanic workers/White-Italian owner... Hell I thought I would have been out in no time! Not! The Blue Truck to my right and myself were the first to arrive and the last to leave! Don’t come!
