Usually love Delta 25 year member plus american express member !! When I got to my gate they wouldn't upgrade my ticket said there was a list. When I got in the plane it was empty only 3 people in first class.. had no problem paying .... Super stupid that they were non helpful

PLEASE READ BEFORE FLYING DELTA NEVER RELY ON DELTA STAFF and DETROIT AIRPORT STAFF- They are thieves. They keep luggage of passengers for smallest of reasons to redistribute among themselves. My flight which was scheduled from Detroit to Newark and Newark to londonUK on 19th july. After baggage check-in and security my flight was cancelled. I was given a replacement flight to depart 5 hrs after my cancelled flight time and i asked delta helpdesk on my checked baggage. They told me checked baggage will automatically move with changes in flight which ofcourse didn’t happen. I arrived in London and my bag was still in US. They told me they will send the bag on next available flight. That didn’t happen as well. There were 5 flights departed since my changed flight but they didnt send my bag on any of them I kept checking the status on my bag for 2 days and i was told different status everytime. My bag is travelling between between DTW and NEWARK airports unnecessarily while the destination is London I travelled to US to attend a wedding hence ofcourse had a lot of valuables in my luggage. The Detroit airport staff and delta airline staff has stolen all my valuables and given me false status since 2 days of mishandling.
