The bridge itself is no great shakes - but it certainly has great views of the Old Town, and of the Rhine.

The best view is hier, on this bridge.

Pretty sure this was the bridge that inspired Kanye West to write ‘Love Lockdown’. Allegedly. Maybe. Okay, it’s definitely not about this bridge but I thought it sounded cool. Enjoy yourself.

The Deutz Suspension Bridge is a bridge across the River Rhine and designed by Fritz Leonhardt and Gerd Lohme. When the bridge was first built in 1948, it was the world's first steel box girder bridge. It's not an incredible bridge to look at, but it's a nice way to cross the river and also get great views of Rheinauhafen and Severinsbrücke to the south, Cologne Cathedral and Hohenzollern Bridge to the north.
