Ordered peanut chicken and received fish fillets. No fish items on the menu but the meat I received looks, smells, and tastes like fish. White semi translucent meat that flakes when a fork is applied. I like fish but it's not what I ordered. I called the restaurant to report the error. The woman I spoke with insisted they don't have fish and that I have chicken. Either they don't know what they are serving or they are intentionally selling mystery meat. The rest of the food is mediocre at best. I suspect it GFS freezer Chinese food that has been reheated. Not worth the money for ordering take out. Will never eat here again. If you risk ordering. Order with extreme caution. Especially if you have food allergies. I doubt this place would care.

This is my \local\ Chinese restaurant, have ordered from here 20 times, but we're to the point we won't anymore. The owner simply has no concept of how to provide service. She's rude and indifferent. Orders are wrong at least half the time. Only positive is the food is consistently good. I sympathise with most small businesses during this pandemic, but her business was mostly takeout prior to this, and they've only gotten worse.
We have not been to Garden Lee in 4 years. Tonight we decided to try them again, value of all 3 meals was good. Food was hot and properly spiced. Kong Lao shrimp was well done and had a lot of shrimp, egg rolls were vegetarian, and were okay. Rice was good, and condiment packs varied and adequate. Very cautious in limiting contact with staff and customers. Nice job Garden Lee. We also got a free face mask in the take out bag. Nice touch! Thanks
Worst place to go. They are very dirty and don't wear masks. Food laying out of coolers. Food is very bland and always soggy.
If you’re in the area, check out the other Chinese restaurant in dewitt. You’ll be disappointed in the quality of the food here & boring recipes.
