Our dog is well taken care of at this family owned business. They seem to go the extra mile to make sure our dog is cared for and I am so glad they know what she likes! I also love that they make sure all dogs are up to date on shots and vaccines to keep them safe. They are following COVID rules and offer curbside drop off! Dawn and her staff are wonderful!

Beyond the best... I have a rescue that is fear aggressive and takes time to get used to other people. He was going to have to boarded for awhile and at the advice of Samarkand we did some practice visits. The first one went as well as practice visits did at other boarders in other cases they simply refused to have him back. He does not bite, he is just super scared of new people. The wonderful people at Samarkand took the time to build that trust. And while he would have to prefered to be at home (as I would have too) this truly was the next best thing to home.
Really impressed with this place when I wanted to board my dog there they suggested my dog come two to three times before I board them so my dog is used to the place and my dog knows I'm going to come and pick him up at the end of the day and that was all at no cost
My rescue English Springer Spaniel mix, Rosie, gets out of my vehicle and rushes to the kennel’s front door. The staff is loving and kind to their charges. Special requests are recorded and followed, with comments at pick-up as how the animal responded. Items you bring to make your pet comfortable, blanket, treats and toys, are carefully labeled and returned at check-out. I believe the Samarkand staff will provide the same attention to your animal’s needs and happiness as they always have to my Rosie.
