What a hidden gem. I'm from Grand rapids & was looking at a truck down the road which was the worse experience, but I was like let's find some good food in this tiny town. Google search showed this was right down the road. Was a little confused when I walked in as you see just the store but saw the bar and a few people at it. It's a very small eating area so if it was busy with the corona you may have to wait. I was told by the patrons the burgers are the best here. Decided to get the pizza burger. Had a little wait as there was only one cook & a ton of to go orders . Bar tender/ owner is on top of it even with jumping from table to table & back to the grocery. They burger was amazing. Just did minus mayo. Was shocked how amazing pizza sauce, ham, pepperoni, lettuce & tomato would be on a burger. Only down side in my opinion..... Michigan State fans... Ha... But for real only down side is no fountain pops and minimal beers on tap. But huge selection of bottles and pop since the grocery is attached. Prices are really good. I plan on making the hour plus drive every now and then.

This is a unique place. Small town bar and store in one. The food was fantastic. And very plentiful. People were very friendly. Great place. Will definitely be going back.
The food is delicious, they serve big portions so if you are coming, bring an appetite! I love the olive burger because it’s a local classic but everything I have had has been awesome!

Food is good and service is down to earth. Don't expect anything fancy, mixed drinks or a clean bathroom, but they have the best burgers in town!
Packed with good country folk and delicious food! Host was a blast! Can't wait to try the gizzard next time!
