One of the best academic libraries in Bangladesh. The Library is truly the heart of the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). It has been growing with the young university constantly serving the vibrant community of students and faculty since its inception. In 1993 the library launched in a room having around area of 850 sqft at House 8, Road 10, Baridhara, Dhaka and traveled to to-days address as IUB Central Library where the library occupies three floors for stacking reading materials, accommodating readers in reading rooms and the library personnel at work places.
It has very wide range of collection of books, magazines, journals etc. Sitting arrangement is quite good. Well decorated and furnished. All the modern facilities are available. A real excellent one!
This library is very big with thousands of books, movies, documents, and other elements. It is well organized. It has a lot of computers to browse or to research all using educational purposes. Anyone who wants can have access to many renowned University Library. It regularly keeps weekly daily international and national papers and magazines. The environment is very good& it is silent. The workers are very friendly, they help users a lot . I think this is one of the best Library of Bangladesh.
This library is very nice. Actually the library is a 4 storey building which is actually attached with the main University Building. In the ground floor of the library there are around 40-50 pc, you can use any of the PC. IN the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor you will find different types of books related with history, business, science, arts, politics, international relations, global politics and religion. Those books are very interesting. All these books are written by world famous writers. So, yeah hope that you will visit our library once.
