There was a great need for such an archive in Bangladesh. This is the first established theater research laboratory. This archive will make a great contribution to the research of all playwrights in Bangladesh. I got all my necessary information here. Very benefited. For the balanced development of a country's theatre culture, practice as well as research is equally necessary. Although the age of regular theatre practice in Bangladesh is about fifty years, its data has not been properly preserved. As a result, there is not much research information available on the practice of drama in Bangladesh. Bangladesh Theater Archive has given some relief in this situation. The archive has provided an opportunity for past and present theatre workers for all over the country to get know each other.
