It is the busiest river port in Bangladesh. You can get launches here to go to the south of Bangladesh by river route. Launches to Barisal, Vola, Cahndpur, Pirojpur, Potuakhali, Jahlokathi are found here. Most of the launches start at night to the destinations. So this place gets crowded after the evening. Very recent some launches start during day time also.
