The history of land survey is much old Indeed. the Scriptures on land survey patterns was found in BC 500 in economics of Kautilya. The relations are very close between Human to land. The development of human civilization based on land as its center. The land is the Absolute and extreme wealth of human beings. The man Loves land as like as their life. So for a country and nation, proper land management is most important thing. The Ministry of land is responsible for the Geek. Under the Ministry of Land the department of Land Records and Surveys determine land ownership rights and create Record of rights (ROR) and Maps. Land ownership of human beings was recorded in parca or say it swattalipi. The different methods of land management system were introduced from prehistoric times to present. However, current methods are introduced in the country since the start of the rule of the East India Company. Cadastral surveys began in the country after passage of the law of Bengal Survey Act in 1875 and Bengal Tenancy Act in 1885. Land survey map made \u200b\u200bin 1793, some are still preserved in the records of the Department of Land Records and Survey. Directorate of Land Records and Survey make surveys of every plot of land of village and make maps at the same time create ROR (Khatian). This land management is ongoing process now. The current government is committed to implementing a digital Bangladesh by 2021. To achieve this objective, the transition from the traditional method of land management stressed the importance of democratic modernization. Digital methods of land survey were launched. Map and Khatian print through the computer system, and database creation is underway performing. The most perfect and precise technique will help to prepare maps and khatian within the fastest possible time.
