Just a awesome place.. it is mainly used for military purpose.. Also the national parade is held here every year. This time a very big program was held for 10 day on the occasion of the 100th birthday of The great Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman

It was a international airport since Hazrat Shahjalal international airport came into operation in the yrbof 1978.Now this runway serve as national parade square as well as training of military aircraft.It is a big place to arrange big parade/curnival.
