The National Sports Council is a sports regulatory body run by the Government of Bangladesh and included in the Ministry of Youth and Sports; An autonomous body established by the National Sports Council Act, 1984 The company is the highest sports body in Bangladesh. Its new building is very beautiful and very big. It has a large auditorium inside. And there are many large parking spaces.

The National Sports Council (NSC) is the national overseer of the control authorities of 41 different sports in Bangladesh. It is responsible to the Ministry of Sports in the national government, based in Dhaka. After the independence of Bangladesh the Bangladesh Sports Control Board was formed in 1972. This was later turned into National Sports Council.
