Came into the endoscopy unit and all the staff were brilliant. They explained everything and tried to put my mind at ease. Couldn't fault them. Thank you so much x

Absolute disgrace. Particularly the stroke unit. Always too busy and patients are the last thing on their priority list. Scunthorpe are one million times better. Someone in authority needs to address their staff in relation to patient and family requirements. Everything seems to be too much trouble for them !

Bought my wife in this morning as she was double up in pain so took to A&E booked in at the front desk waiting few minutes then call though to see the nurse (Amy) who was really polite and allowed me to stay with my wife while waiting to see the doctor my wife became very light head so asked for help at front desk and she went though and got some the male nurse need to learn how to speak to people and took my wife to side room then the nurse spoke to her like a dog and left her in side room my wife had to ask for water as she has lots of health issues and they didn't check on her just left her I then spot my wife heading for the toilet and she said that she would be discharging her self due to know even checking on her rather stand round in group to discuss overtime and the a@e was not busy at all they need to work on people skills and care for people who need medical help.

My elderly mother waited patiently five days ago for a telephone appointment with her Cardiologist - no one rang her. I telephoned the contact number for her later that evening and a gentleman was very apologetic and stated that he would let someone know and they would contact her. No one did. Today she was very upset to receive a letter stating she did not attend her appointment and she has another telephone appointment in 7 weeks time - that is now 6 months after her original referral.

Cannot fault the maternity unit! Had my C Section on the 12th August 2020. My midwife and My student midwife were both absolutely fantastic. Never known such caring, thoughtful and down to earth midwives. They both went above and beyond while I was there. Sadly the night staff weren't so good however I respect they were understaffed which means they can't be everywhere at once. All I can say is maybe some of the maternity health care assistants on Honeysuckle need to brush up on how they speak to patients, as some are quite rude.
