I’ve always had major anxiety going to the dentist, and put visits off, to the point that they would give me a mild sedative to ease my anxiety but I don’t need to do that here. The staff are incredibly friendly and kind. They’re not judgy and they explain everything. They work really well with scheduling. They’re gentle. The hygienist asks if I’m okay while she’s doing normal things, which I appreciate as it calms me down. The ambience is like a family, they are family. I have always felt comfortable going here. I’ve had terrible experiences with nearly ALL dentists and dental offices elsewhere where I felt like they didn’t care or tried to get as much money out of me as possible and telling me I have cavities where I don’t on second opinions. (Mint dentistry - the worst of all). I appreciate the level of care, friendliness, professionalism and knowledge here so much. Thank you Dickinson Dental!

Fabulous Staff and Great Dentist!! You'll feel at home with the staff. The Maxwell Elliott DDS and his daughter whose the technician care about your experience and goes over and beyond to crush the fears allot of ppl feel about their past dental experiences. You'll leave with a smile on your face after the visit. They actually kept watch over my small kiddos as I was getting a procedure done! This will be my family dentist for the foreseeable future ️

I highly recommend Dr. Max Elliott. He's very professional, and his staff is always friendly. He takes the time to explain the treatment he will give you, and he explains your options. Because we travel, the staff is always willing to work our family in for an appointment on short notice. The office is clean and has little wait time.
I went to Dr. Elliot for a wisdom teeth extraction. At first I was really nervous about not being \put under\ for the surgery, but the laughing gas they gave me and the local numbing agents were just fine for me! I brought sunglasses and my ipod and kept my eyes closed most of the time and Dr. Elliot and his assistant were really great at being careful and patient to keep me calm throughout while they let me know what to expect and what was going on during the procedure (I asked for that - I'm sure not everyone wants to know). My healing time was also really fast and I think that's because he did a great job and let us know exactly what to expect for the recovery process (though I wish he would have given us more gauze) and set an appointment to see me a week later and check on my healing. Great experience and I highly recommend! P.S. The other reviewer did mention the price in respect to the area, but I will say that you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to dentistry. The facility is very neat and clean; everyone is well-prepared and knows what they are doing; and Dr. Elliot is definitely a pro. I'm good with paying a little more for that - plus it's not nearly as much as I had to pay when I lived in Chicago. )
