My senior friend and I went to the Renaissance Bakery and Cafe in Didsbury for lunch which was excellent! We made our order and also ordered three of their delicious cannoli (salted caramel, pistachio, and a coffee one) to take home. When I zipped out to the vehicle get my friend’s diabetic needle, a gentleman kindly paid for our order! We have no idea who the gentleman is, but he surely blessed us today! Many thanks to him and to the kind and friendly staff at the Renaissance Bakery and Cafe.

The pastries here were simply fantastic. Worth a little detour on our trip to stop by and indulge ourselves.
Amazing baking and generous menu selection. I am writing this review early on after the first week of being open. The owners have a good start and I hope they will be successful. Good luck and keep the quality up.
They have attractive looking Large Canneloni Pastries, several Flavors. But they didnt have Much Flavor / Taste. We enjoyed the Flake Pastry Better, that we had at Lunch at the Thai Restaurant, in the Hotel, uptown.
I had the Sicilian flat bread it was on of the most tastiest things I have eaten in a while. The cannolis are so delicious. The service was great very friendly people and seem to love hosting.
So far tried the cannoli and eclair! Amazing. Will be back to check off a few more items from the 'to try' list.
