The Bierpunt bars are known in the area for their wide selection of craft beers, on tap and bottled. Some very special beers might not always be available, just order and they'll let you know if it's in stock. Each beer is served in its own custom-made glass from the brewery.

Really pleased with my experience at Bierpunt. I try to seek out local beers wherever I can and at Bierpunt your'e in safe hands. Not only are they well stocked with Limburgish beers but they have an extensive menu from throughout Belgium. The staff are friendly and patient and the bar comes across as popular with locals too. There appears to be a penchant for vehicles with large engines in Hasselt which was a little distracting as we sat outside, especially since the seating verges very close to the road, but it became part of the experience whilst watching the world go by with a tasty beer. I recommend the Coccinelle Tripel from the local Beerbugs Brewery
