A fine tribute to Maude.

Small memorial park on the side of the 101 highway. Easy to miss so watch for the sign. Some pedestals with information on Maud Lewis and a memorial structure where her home once was. Small but lovely site to stop for a rest and take a few minutes to putter around.
Great stop on the drive from Digby down to the South Shore! Wonderful history in our home province.
Beautiful memorial spot. Gardens are kept up nicely.
Anyone passing by should stop and see this little house. Her art is simple and wonderful. Her original house is still standing, and interesting look back at how people live. In my pictures I did not take one of her house.
Any spot on this planet celebrating an Artists work is a wonderful place to visit, explore and grow.
This park is a nice tribute to Maud Lewis, but I have to admit, it was a little disappointing to see such an abstract art version of her house in the pace where it used to be. I liked the information boards and the picnic park itself was very nice, for a tiny park.
Awesome gallery, well worth a visit if you like art at its very best stripped back.
