I studied a Software Tester Level 4 apprenticeship with Digital Native as part of my companies apprenticeship program where I was able to study once a week, I was fully remote and the coach (Tony) would come up to visit once a month at my place of work, and be available for remote chats and talk even when he was not visiting. For me, I can fully recommend an apprenticeship with Digital Native. It has skyrocketed my career, and although the curriculum for the apprenticeship was great, I find that the real value of the apprenticeship came from having the capability to chat to someone who has had industry experience for a number of years - someone who is towards the end of their career coaching someone who is brand new. I found that incredibly powerful and valuable to my career - numerous times I have chatted with the coach on a variety of topics and gained insight into the approach and industry. The things I had learned throughout the chats will stick with me for the remainder of my career, and continue to be a positive influence. For me, it was the right choice to undertake the apprenticeship, and I thank both Digital Native and my employer for allowing me to do so, but most of all I thank Tony for for all the assistance and teaching he has given me over the course of it. After running an apprenticeship program for a few years now we have finally struck gold with Digital Native and the way they do things. Although we've not got an apprentice through their qualifications process just yet, they are all on the right track. We're kept informed of all progress and requirements and I know exactly who to go to if I have a question. We've had some negative experiences in the past with other providers due to lack of communication and accountability but Digital Native are top of the game.
I applied to an apprenticeship but unfortunately i wasn't successful. Martin went out of his was to provide me with extensive and extremely insightful opinions about my performance which i believe will be invaluable to my future applications. They clearly do what they say which is investing in 'people', i wish more recruitment agencies were like this one.
With the help of Tony, Martin and Suzanne I feel I’ve been given an opportunity to enhance my career. Digital Native provide me with new ways of thinking about the world of Tech, through their combined experience. The support offered is unmatched and is provided in a well suited environment.
After not doing so well in Sixth Form I was given a second opportunity at starting a career in Marketing through Digital Native, of which I am very greatful. I completed my Level 3 Apprenticeship in 2017, this helped me become a functioning member of my internal marketing team and eventually leading to recognition within my workplace in the form of a promotion. I am now working through my Degree Apprenticeship in Digital and Technology Solutions. Being able to sit with a range of people that work in a variety of sectors and the guest lectures allows me to expand my knowledge on areas I may not cover in my day to day working life. This also keeps me in touch with key technological advances from speakers who are at the top of their field. I have also been able to sit with the likes of Tony, Suzanne and Martin to talk about my day to day working life and how I can improve my own abilities to enhance my professional development.
