Aldi is traditionally known as a budget shop selling quality basic everyday items without the brand's markup. It seems like Aldi here in France is more like the UK's KwikSave of old times. First impressions were that the shop is closing down. In reality, it just looks run down. Most of the items on sale are universal. There are local and regional variations. The staff look like they are not really enjoying working for Aldi though.
