Great place to take pictures and also has excellent view of the icy lake and the snow mountains. Only a few group of people and there are plenty of parking. You can play tube or slide board in the snow. You can throw ice or little stone to the lake and you will hear the cute echo sound:)

This is a nice public gathering area recently upgraded by the city of Dillon. There is an amphitheater where concerts are held in the summer. Also there is a children's play area. This area is adjacent to Lake Dillon and the Lake Dillon walking and bicycle path.

Best playground in town. Kids love it after school. Views are outstanding. Can get windy in the afternoon/evening but not often.

My family was vacationing in Colorado and we were looking for fun things to do around where we are staying. We decided to rent a pontoon boat from the Dillon Marina for a few hours. We love boating back home and had a blast at Dillon lake! Very different than boating in Kansas! The lake is beautiful to drive around on. We packed lunch and ate sandwiches on the boat. Our pontoon was super nice and we were glad it had a shaded roof for the sun. Over all 10/10! It was a little chilly so make sure if you go to take warm clothes, the wind can get cold on the lake! Staff was also super friendly & nice, it was easy to book, no crazy COVID rules. We wore masks when interacting with the staff before and after but we were able to take them off when boating.

Just a one in a million setting here. We love the walking paths, playground, and the views. Top notch!
