Guy named Sawyer makes an appointment for for ski rentals and promises lift tickets 50%. When we showed up he wasn't there. Some stuff is completely lost. We went to another place and got skis rented without a hassle. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

Allow 15 people in the store at a time. Great but the outdoor greeter doesn't pay attention so you stand in line only to later find out you have to sign up online to get in. Then you can't look at the shoes on the wall. You have to ask from 10' or so back to see the display shoe. Extreme waste of time. I will not return to any REI after today.

I can't say enough about the service we received from Bob the ski boot fitter at the Dillon location. I am the guy that does tons of research online but even after all the research Bob schooled me and provided and excellent fitting of the boots my wife and I purchased plus gave us tips on how to care for our boot AND gave us local ski advice. After skiing hard for a couple of days we had zero pain, big difference from rental boots. The store itself is in a great location for anyone in the vicinity.

This is a fine REI, as smaller REI’s go. Decent but limited selection of items to keep you going on your mountain adventures. Like most shops in the area there will be some staff members that put off an elitist vibe but if you’re fortunate enough to show up at a time that is “less busy than usual” you should have no problem getting in and out with pleasant shopping experience.

Nice store to shop for ski stuff and other outdoors type activities. Limited selections on my particular need and the one I picked seemed to be outrageous in price but I don’t think it was the stores pricing and it was just after Christmas so it’s most likely my timing. The service was excellent.

Came in to buy some boots and the ones I wanted were out in my size. Sherri was incredibly helpful in narrowing down the choices and Ty got me the rest of the way to a boot I like. Really stoked with the service I got and highly recommend this store.

Travelled out here all the way from Michigan for some snowboarding, and my binding completely broke on the mountain. The resort was unable to help me because the parts were "too specific". However, one call to REI and they spent around a half an hour working up a safe solution for the rest of our trip. Can't say enough good things about the staff here!

I feel bad for letting this one go for so long. I was in the area in January to do some riding and had a boot give (ratcheting knob broke while riding) I came in to the store 30 minutes before closing time. As I wandered over to the boot section, I was approached by a friendly associate (Brandon O.) he had asked if I knew what I was looking for, I gave non-descriptive answer: boots. After asking me a series of questions about what kind of riding I’d be doing Brandon hooked up the best possible boots for for me. In addition to schooling me about the difference in the boots that were offered, Brandon pointed me in the right direction and I left the store 100% satisfied. Thanks Brandon, even though the snow wasn’t that great, you made my trip much more enjoyable with the right gear! REI should be proud of the rockstars like Brandon O! Many thanks!
