02/08/2021 We purchased Fleck 5600 SXT water softener system from Discount Water Softeners Inc back in 2016 and have it installed by a professional plummer. Our water is good and soft. Just recently Discount Water Softeners sent us FREE 4 water hardness test tabs upon my request. I tested the water before treated(from outside hose bib) and after treated by Fleck 5600 water softener. Conroe , Texas City water hardness is between 120-180 ppm while our treated water showed 0-40 ppm. This confirmed that our Fleck 5600 is working flawlessly after almost 5 years. Salt usage rate is very reasonable....about one 40 lb. bag per month. Thank you Discount Water Softeners Inc.
