We had an amazing enthusiastic and energetic dive with Marina on the Rellito Mohawk Deer Wreck. We booked our dive 4hours before the dive and could fit in the already full program due to our experience. The facilities were adequate and well organised. You have an own locker with plenty of space. The communication was brief but clear about the program. Before entering the boat there was some chaos but our dive guide and the captain were very helpful. During the dive Marina shared her passion for the marine life, diving, the layout of the wreck with all its secrets. We enjoyed every minute on the big rubber boat and the view.

This is the third consecutive year I have brought a school group to Diving Group Portofino and will be coming back again next year. After researching numerous dive centers in the Northern Mediterranean we came across Diving Group Portofino. Location: Santa Margherita is a beautiful town with everything we need within walking distance. The sheltered water dives were just a few hundred metres walk from the Dive Centre, which makes the trainings easy, the harbor a hundred metres form the Dive Centre and the area itself being a 15 minute boat ride to a protected marine reserve that offers excitement and challenges to divers of all levels. Organisation: DGP have been great communicators, after 3 years we have our trip down like a ‘well organized machine’. DGO assist us with recommendation as well as booking assistance of hotels, lunches and restaurant dinners. Not easy with a group of 28. Equipment; is plentiful, modern and of a good quality and they are able to comfortably kit out 25 divers at a time of all shapes and sizes Instructors: DGP do not cut corners when offering their courses. Safety of the divers is their utmost consideration and the instructors move the students through the course at a pace that is best for the learner. The instructors are all experienced and are able to instruct in Italian and English. General: While we have worked to a similar schedule each year DGP have been flexible to accommodate our group and the ever changing logistical aspects of such a trip; boats needed, numbers diving, weather etc. In the last 3 years we have had over 60 students from our school that have completed their PADI Open Water Diver course. We are very grateful to the Administration and Instructors at DGP for offering this incredibly impactful experience for our students.
Everyone was very kind and spoke English with us. Their snorkeling equipment was in good order and the staff was great. The location is amazing and they took us to all the best parts of the area! We saw tons of fish and dove down to see the Christ of the Abyss.
