With a background in architecture, as well as many years teaching graphic design and sculpture, we talk the talk and walk the walk across disciplines. Ansel Adams said “A good photograph is knowing where to stand” — and we do. We can read a plan, know what a section is, and appreciate a well-designed detail. Alongside architecture, we believe that graphic design is three-dimensional. The space between a reader and the message is a hierarchy of elements that communicate. Viewing a poster at six-feet away is different than a book at eighteen-inches. The feel of paper in your hand is different than the image on your screen, and each deserves great care. The world is not made of parts, but pieces of a puzzle that lead us here and there. Putting it together is the joy of our work. The well-designed path delights and inspires us.
