We really enjoyed steak night here. The staff were friendly and the ribeye was brilliant. It's a little dark in there, but the food and atmosphere make up for it.

Lovely pub and staff. I had the game pie.. was really yummy and my sister had scampi and chips.. very good too! Very satisfying plate of food for the money

A great village pub really trying to make everyone happy in difficult times. Food good, beer good, wine good, and the landlord remembered me from six months ago! Can't ask for more. Go there and enjoy a treat.

We loved our Sunday lunch at the Dog and Pheasant. One of the best nut roasts I've ever had with a good selection of veg, perfectly seasoned roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pud and a really tasty gravy! My partner had the lamb shank and it fell off the bone. Only way it could have been improved is by the addition of roast parsnips, though the parsnip puree was a nice touch. Can't wait to come back again to see what else the pub has to offer.
