Excellent food and friendly staff but you do have to wait for it. Okonomiyaki was fluffy inside and crispy outside. The Hiroshima version has barely any batter so it is light and crispy throughout. Definitely a highlight. Despite the deftly made fresh Okonomiyaki, we have to take a star off due to the wait. The staff is helpful but clearly overwhelmed. We made a reservation but was seated 30 minutes later. The cooking started another half hour after so over an hour before we could eat. The manager was running table to table and had to explain to customers that dinner time is busy and the staff is doing all they can. Hence no complains over the food but management needs to hire more people. If you're seeking a better experience, don't visit this place during peak meal hours. Odd advice, I know, but there you go.

Have wanted to try this place for a while so finally came today and it was definitely worth it! Came on a Monday for lunch and were seated straight away, our waitresses were very attentive and accommodating and the dine in service was fantastic! Cooked our Hiroshima okonomiyaki beautifully in front of us, helped us take photos & special shout out to the lovely waitress who cleaned up all the broken glass and changed our water after my mum’s hand slipped Will definitely be back!

Very enjoyable experience. The waitress was well mannered and gave me the Japan vibes. Miss our Japan trip last year, and this is a great place to visit for reminiscing. Dont come here for a quick bite, come here for an experience

Food is nice enough and the menu is creative, however the biggest issue for us was the complete lack of staff leading to a sub-par experience. The wait staff are nice when they get to you but are obviously exhausted from managing so many stations. They didn't even notice that the grill was not even on, leading to an excruciating wait for it to warm up and then finally cook despite the okonomiyaki already being placed onto the grill. This led to a very average experience with no explanation or apology from the wait staff.

The service and food here was absolutely incredible. I’ve never had a Japanese Okonomiyaki like I had here. It was fluffy and beautiful and the drink I ordered was fantastic too. If I could put six stars, I would. Highly recommend.

THE OWNER need to have more staff on during peak times. Took my wife on a date night, booked for 7.30. They made us line up for 30min even though there were empty tables. Food took over an hour to come out. I had a chat to one of the waiters and she told me that they only had 3 people on, and 1 is behind the bar. I feel for the girls running around, it’s not their fault. Food was great when we ate at 9.30.

nested inside Doncaster shopping centre in the food presinct, the vibe was just electric! the menu was very comprehensive to the point i no longer knew what i was looking at or what i wanted to order. the food was delicious and remenisced my visit in Japan - however service was a little clunky and pricing was far above the quantity i was expecting. definitely a niche and fun experience for the odd special occasion but not one for a frequent meal
