Fantastic boat trip around the bay. Some spectacular scenery. Fresh water seals. Lots of history. And well guided.

On a sunny day there is nothing better than a nice cruise around the Bay of Donegal. The views are great and the tour guide gives a good insight into the history of Donegal Bay and surrounding islands.Getting to see the seals including the big bull seal known as Ron was great and a Grey Heron flying by was a bonus The crew are very nice and friendly and will help in any way they can. I highly recommend the trip and to take a good camera.
Staff gave a very good covid talk before boarding which i applaud them for and how seriously they are taking covid felt very safe on board. However i was very disappointed in the seats given which we were told(during covid talk) were where we had to stay for duration of trip. We ended up being one of the last allowed up top for the trip which resulted in us having to sit behind the exhaust pipe (resulted in headaches for rest of day). This resulted in having to endure exhaust fumes and no forward or side views for the complete trip along with not being able to hear the communtery for the whole trip due to noise of exhausts. Those seats should be blocked off and not used ever covid or not as its just not fair. Other than that the trip would have been enjoyable was not worth the 20 euro each on this occassion.
Very comfortable seating. There is a bar on board. There is commentary on the way there and music (dancing optional) on the way back. You pass Seal Island and might be lucky to see the seals. Very enjoyable. Recommended.
I wasnt on the waterbus just parked in the car park and enjoyed the view, sun set lovely.
Very comfortable and enjoyable, lovely friendly staff, beautiful views, 20 euro per person gets you a guided tour on the way out and live music on the way back. Bar on board, tea, coffee and snacks. Seats on top deck too. Total tour is 75mins and just right. Seats over a hundred. Great craic and lovely relaxing experience
Restrictions in place at present which meant no music and limited bar service but a nice little trip nonetheless. Couldn't hear the commentary as we were at the back of the top deck and near the engines (couldn't move due to restrictions).
It was a nice little trip out into the bay with some local history, but was it worth the fair ? I don't think so
