I recently purchased a home with an old heat pump (original to the home). Knew nothing about them! I called JCD to do a routine maintenance, and turned out the unit had been re-wired to only work as an A/C, and could not heat at all. He took time to explain things to me. He located the issue and ultimately recommend replacing it with a newer efficient machine. I wanted to then install a new heat pump and furnace and got 5 quotes! JCD was THE ONLY ONE to take time listen to my needs, how I would use it.. Didn't try to push splits on me (it's only a 1.6K sq foot house) or over sell the size of the unit! Did the estimate in front of me explaining all that would be included in the cost, the warranty, tax credits, and install process.. During the installation they were super courteous and very friendly, offered me some lunch as they had ordered some for themselves, and cleaned up the whole furnace room. After the installation they made sure I knew where to change the filters, humidifier, and all the things that were new to me. In today's world, where the promise of \ excellent customer service\ is almost a myth, JCD Refrigeration surpassed my expectations..

Chris and his team installed a mini-split for us and replaced our entire electrical panel. They were on time, worked quickly and cleanly, and were both professional and incredibly nice. They were very up front with the options available and made sure we were informed every step of the way. Truly a first class experience at a very competitive price.

Our heat pump and electric furnace were replaced today by JCD Refrigeration. I am extremely impressed with their professional service and kind attitude toward our family's situation. Without heating, they arrived around noon time, and promised they could install the entire system the next morning. I was quite shocked by this, but the next morning they started at 7:30 and worked without stop all day. Our old system was aging and we are very happy to have the new machines in place. They took great care of our home while they were working and the home feels very comfortable now. They are a team of hard working people who honoured their promise to us. Thank you for your great help.
